Triber is based in Doetinchem (The Netherlands) and Triber BV provides the App to you. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, Triber BV is responsible for protecting your personal data under EEA data protection law.

Triber may change this privacy policy at any time. If we make any changes, we will provide a clear notice. If you disagree with any changes to this privacy policy, you should stop using the App and delete your account via the App's settings.

We collect information about your activities, profiles, and how you use the App. This includes uploading pictures, activities, joining challenges, adding equipment usage, and viewing others' activities. We also use your contact information to respond to your support requests and comments.

We gather technical information from your browser, computer, or mobile device when you access or use the App. This includes device and network information, log files, and analytics information. Log files include details such as IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, platform type, date and time of access, and number of clicks. We use this information to analyse trends, administer and protect the App, track user movement, and gather demographic information. IP addresses may be linked to session and user IDs.
8. Content You Share
We collect information from the photos, activities, comments, kudos, and other content you share on the App.
Location Information:
We collect and process location information when you sign up for and use the App. While you are not using the App, we do not track your device location. However, during your use of the App, we track your device location to provide Triber's core service. You can choose to stop the device location tracking by adjusting your device settings.
Additional Information:
We may also collect information about you from other users, such as when they give you kudos or comment on your activities.
9. How Triber Uses Information
To provide:
We use the information we collect to provide you with the App and its features. This includes recording your activities, allowing you to interact with other users, and notifying followers when you go live or finish an activity. Some parts of your profile, photos, and interactions may be shared on Triber to enhance your participation in the App.

We analyse the information we collect to improve and develop the App. In order to gain insights into how our App are used and make enhancements, we may utilize third-party analytics providers.
To communicate:
We use the information we collect to provide support and respond to your requests and comments. We may also use this information to market and promote the App, activities on Triber, and other commercial products or apps. This may include marketing and push communications, unless you have opted out of receiving such messages and notifications.
Aggregate information:
We do not sell your personal information. However, we may aggregate the information you and others share on the App. This aggregated information, which may include data about equipment, usage, demographics, activities, and performance, can be shared publicly or with third parties. This helps with research, business purposes, and providing insight to our partners about the users of their products and apps.

Information available for other users:
By default, your profile and activities on the App are only viewable by yourself. However, certain information, such as your name and profile information, may be visible to other Triber users who follow you. Additional information and content that you choose to share may also be viewable by others.
Service providers:
We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in supporting, improving, promoting, and securing the App. These service providers only have access to the necessary information to carry out their functions and are obligated to protect and secure your information. We may also engage service providers to collect information about your App usage over time for promotional and advertising purposes.
Affiliates and acquirors:
We may share your information with our affiliates who are under the same control as us and are bound by the same privacy policy. In the event of a business transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, your information may also be shared or transferred.

11. App Settings

Updating Account Information:
You can easily update your profile information at any time by accessing your account settings within the app.
Deleting information and accounts:
If you no longer wish to use Triber, you have the option to delete your account. Once you request to delete your account, we will permanently and irreversibly delete all your personal data, including backups. Please note that this process may take up to 90 days to complete. Keep in mind that content you have shared with others, such as photos, may remain visible even after your account is deleted.
You can also remove individual activities you have posted without deleting your entire account. These activities may remain on our systems until you delete your account.
Please be aware that in certain circumstances, we may be required by law to retain certain information or take other actions permitted by law even after account deletion.
12. Legal Information
This privacy policy is written in English. If there are any conflicts between the translated version and the English version, the English version takes precedence. Please note that this privacy policy does not apply to third-party products or apps or the practices of companies that we do not own or control. This includes other companies that you interact with on or through the App.
Your legal rights in the EEA:
If you are located in the EEA, you have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights include the right to access, correct, download, or delete your information. You also have the right to restrict and object to certain processing of your information.

Your account information will generally be kept until it is no longer necessary, or until you delete your account. De-identified and aggregated information:
We may de-identify or aggregate your information with other non-personal data to generate valuable insights, such as usage statistics of the App. This information is used for commercial purposes and does not identify individual users.
